Streets of Sapa, this area was nearly destroyed after WWII, China took a poke at it & the Vietnam war didn't help any. But when the tourist trade started to take off in the early 90's, people started coming to northern Viet Nam... many of the building have been refurbished, and new hotels are popping up. Should be good for business!!
